PTC

My mom went to the PTC yesterday.......

Overall, the teachers gave me a "good, keep it up".......

But Mr. Lex said I talked too much =.=

So did Mr. Ayuk....even though I only talked about 5 TIMES in his class.....IN ONE SEMESTER.....

....

Wow...shocker.....

That is so surprising to me, I never knew.....

Mr. Lex says that I need to talk less, and keep it in my mind.....and also be less immature =.=

That's nice......

I talk too much.....but I don't have a lot to write on my blog....

Shame.

By the way, we need a team name, banner, and uniforms for our Kabaddi team.....I think Ophelia would be great at designing the banner.....

Hmm...

Today, Michelle had to bring a travel tote to school because her backpack was still drying.....

So....she didn't really carry a lot of stuff with her.....

And today, we had a new student....his name is Henry......that makes us 13 people :D

The most ever since I came to this school ;)

And today, we had Kabaddi in P.E =.=

And it's....kind of interesting.....it's actually REALLy difficult....Even though our team won....it felt....kind of weird I guess....

Our teams were split into Upper and Lower Caste....and I'm part of the Upper Caste, and because of this, I chose to be a princess....part of the Kshatriya Caste....

Yeah...that is all I have to say.....sorry if this post bores you =.=

Btw...I have 1,000 views on my blog now :D

Btw, Lucy, Ms. Padachie has given us bracelets....she said she gave them to the Shanghai MUN team and called it a "care package"......I'll give it to the violin place and tell them to give it to you ok?

Today was an interesting day.....

Michelle put her lunch inside her backpack, and the orange juice spilled inside....it was one of those oranges juices sealed inside with a plastic film.....

And it was EVERYWHERE....I mean like, first off, the bottom of her backpack was soaked, her homework was soaked, and her math workbook was completely soaked (the ink inside started running, so basically, the top of her notebook had red, black, and green swirls =.=)

And we spent lunch time trying to help Michelle clean her stuff, I tried to clean her notebook and tests and Spanish worksheets (she needed to turn them in, or else she would be marked 50% off), Ophelia washed her backpack, and the rest tried to dry her stuff and also clean her computer case....

I was most nervous about the computer, because the juice could have went inside...but it turns out it was fine :)

The rest of us left to eat lunch, because there was like....10 minutes left....

But Ophelia stayed to help Michelle wash and dry her backpack.....because her bag was semi-waterproof, it was pretty hard to clean....

I guess I felt kind of bad, so I gave them some sushi.....because Ophelia looked starved =.=

They put away her stuff in her locker to dry, and they came to eat some lunch for the last 5 minutes.....

...

Well, on the bright side....Her stuff smells like orange juice :D

I'm not kidding, it actually smells pretty good.

New Watch

On second thought, I should had switched yesterday's post with today's....hmm....

But anyways, I got a new watch yesterday :D

Yes, I know what you're thinking "Why would you need a new watch, isn't your first one perfectly fine?"......

I actually really do like my first watch....but unfortunately, it is a PAIN to put it on....I always need someone to help me put it on...and that is not a good thing.....so I bought a new one so I can put it on faster and go to school.....since my bus leaves within 5 minutes =.=

Don't worry, I'm not going to let my old watch sit there, I'm still going to wear it........on days where I have time to put it on, since it's not broken yet......plus, I really do like my old watch.....but for school....I'm going to wear my new watch :D

PD day

Tomorrow is a PD day...and I'm looking forward to it.......I have more time to finish homework :D

YEAH.

Because yesterday, I didn't get much done....we went to Costco to buy groceries.....and today, I think we're going to Big City because we need to order our New Years meals, if you know what I mean...

And eat dinner there anyways, because.....well.....we're there already so we might as well eat there.....

So that leaves tomorrow to write homework....right now, I'm trying to finish as much as I can, so I can rest more tomorrow....and do the stuff that I want to do....

You know....Youtubing....Gaming....Facebooking....Blogging.....watching Rainbow Bunchie.....

By the way, rainbow bunchie is the 10 hour long video that Ophelia sent to me.....it looks hilarious....

Fundraiser

Today, we  didn't have club....shame....

But we had this fundraiser thing instead, and I bought a bunch of these little dudes =P

Yeah, I know...it's weird, but I wasn't planning to buy 10, I was only planning to buy 5, but I only had a hundred NT bill.....and Amber didn't have change for it...so I just bought 10....

Well...I plan to give them away for gifts.....
For example, if a friend comes to your house, and you didn't buy anything for her....then at least you have a backup plan.....

By the way, no I wasn't wasting my money, these little......hamsters (?) were only 10 NT each, while the Pooh Bears were 20NT each......

Yeah....so it wasn't that bad actually....



See? You can make a necklace out of them by putting them together :D

10 hours

Dear Ophelia,

Stop sending me 10 hour long youtube videos, I get your point.....i mean....you sent me over like 15 videos that are 10 hours long =.=

Ok.......I made my point :)

So....today we had history, and we did YOGA.....

I know....it sounds weird, but because we'll be playing a match of Kabaddi soon....we needed to practice yoga to help us practice our lung power.....

By the way, if you're wondering, we're learning about Indian history right now :)

And after lunch, we had P.E, we're having a dodge ball session right now....although next week we'll be starting on Kabaddi =.=

Debate Club

Well, second semester has started for us, and we were supposed to choose our second club, and of course, I stayed in Debate Club because I think it's fun, and it's actually quite helpful as well.

But we will be debating in front of the entire school on April 11th :O

SO NERVOUS D:

But the topic we are debating on is "Are girls too mean to each other?"

And I'm on the opposition, so that means that I'll be on the side that says girls aren't too mean to each other....

But honestly, it's been proven that girls ARE too mean to each other...BUT we are debating Lincoln-Douglas style, so facts aren't going to be much help :)

There are 4 groups:

Opposition- Jessie and me, Michelle and Phoebe
Proposition-Ophelia and Lindsey, Cici and James Lai

And I think that Jessie and I are against Cici and James Lai, but I'm not sure...

For some reason, I seem to always in the group that has been scientifically proven WRONG....

For example, for the topic "Standardized Testing is bad for education".....I was on proposition =.=

And for "Learning Music at a young age is good", I was put on opposition....

And for this topic, I was obviously put on the....yeah.....

But...it's not really about who's more right, it's about how many people were convinced to come to our side :)

So......we'll see.......

Yeah, I have no idea what to write for today.....sorry to be disappointing, but unlike some people, my life isn't very interesting......

SO, I'm going to write a recipe today!

A very delicious sandwich:

Ingredients:
-bread
-a block of cheese
-6 eggs
-a whole leg of ham
-a ball of lettuce
-ketchup
-mayonaise
-tomato slices

Procedure:
1. put the bread on the table
2. smack the ham on to the bread
3. cut the lettuce in half
4. put one of the halves on the other piece of bread
5. squirt ketchup all over the bread, cover it, don't mind missing, as long you cannot see the bread any more
6. marinate the cheese in toilet water
7. since I have no more mayonaise, I will replace it with some shaving cream.....spread some in the middle of the sandwich
8. place a couple tomato slices on the shaving cream
9. throw the eggs on top of the sandwich, do not cook them......and be sure to include the shell, gives some crunch to the sandwich :)
10. place on the other piece of bread
11. Eat it
12. Sue me.

Talks

Occasionally now, I would post some stuff on my blog that has nothing to do with my life, what I mean is just random talks ok?

Tell me if you like these kind of posts or find them helpful....

So, today I was thinking about the problem of getting pissed off, and how we can deal with it....

Not that this has anything to do with my life right now, random things just pass through my mind ok? I have a one track mind....

But, people get mad at each other very often, whether it's between friends, family, or business.

And some people get angry more than others, *cough*, but everyone gets angry ok? We're not perfect, if we were, we wouldn't be called "human".

There can be many reasons why, maybe a friend betrayed you, maybe a stranger was rude to you, maybe your anger just snowballed and finally exploded.......But the important thing is not to take it in.....

I admit that I get angry easily, and what I do is, I try not to let the anger build up, but I don't release it right away....

For example, if a friend somehow offends me, I wouldn't just get angry at them.......but I wouldn't just keep it inside, I would talk to someone, or maybe let it out by writing on my blog or screaming into a pillow....I don't know...

The thing is to not let their offense get to you.....if you take it in, you're practically allowing yourself to get angry.....don't.....

You may be the tastiest, sweetest peach, but there will be some people who just don't like peaches...

If you're angry, the emotion can blind you, and it'll do nothing good..... maintaining a good mood and patience can do loads for you......not only does it prevent you from getting offended, but it'll seriously make your day better for you...

Try not to think of the negatives of the people, instead try to focus on their goods.

Let go of all negative thoughts......

Don't let the negative people's words get to you.....

Winnie D:

Today I checked on Winnie......

I really don't know what to say.....

Yesterday, Willa threw a plastic water bottle at Winnie because she thought Winnie would catch it, but instead, Winnie was't really looking, so she got hit by it....

And immediately, she crouched down, and held her head and started crying, and we tried to check how her head was, but the end of her eyebrow was completely swollen and pale D:

So then Mr. Lee took her and Willa to the clinic to rest.....

And when I checked today, her left eye's lash line was purple, like no kidding....at first Ophelia thought she was wearing eyeliner, but then Winnie said it was a bruise, and she was like :OOOOOOOOO

Poor Winnie :(

That must have hurt......also, the water bottle was only like, a quarter full, so Willa must've thrown it really hard to cause so much damage :-/

Willa totally panicked when she hit Winnie.....and insisted on staying with her at all times =.=

Hope your eye gets better Winnie....

Today is my mom's birthday :DDDDDDD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, I HOPE YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED AND HAVE A GREAT FOLLOWING YEAR :D

Thank you for everything mom, I know you work hard everyday just to pay for my school tuition, but what's more is, you're willing to spend pretty much all of your savings on our family.

So.....nothing happened, I mean, quarter 2 of our school is ending, but there's literally nothing........

Well, there's one thing, I don't have homework today.....because I finished everything, so that means I need to practice my violin.....and maybe study for some upcoming tests such as English and Science I guess....

MICHELLE IS THE BEST

Yeah....that was from Michelle.....In fact, she's right next to me because I'm writing this blog post in a break from Speech and Debate.....the teacher was nice enough to give us a break in the class to work on what we need to do.....

Oh, by the way, Connie isn't transferring any more.....her dad suddenly decided that she didn't have to =.=

Sigh....

From now on, I think my blogs are going to be PRETTY boring......especially this one......because I have absolutely no idea what to write....

I think I'm going to talk about nonsense and hopefully get to 100 words.....

Ok, so....in art class, we continued our doodle art project....which basically, you draw your own paper with doodle art, and we match up everything with a piece of blank paper in between each paper......And somehow connect everything...

And it's....pretty hard to connect the girls' and the boys' art, since they are so different......you can probably tell which is a guy's and which is a girls' =.=

I think we did okay.....I mean, it's not the BEST......but at least we have something going on in our giant mural-ish....thing......

Oh, by the way, Connie is going to transfer to another school :(

Tomorrow is her last day in our school, and we're probably going to throw a party somehow (I think it's organized by Leann)......

Today I'm going to write my blog early so I can get it off my mind :)

On Friday, we had only half a day of school, since we had a school bike trip (I know, weird huh?).....

About 20 people rode past me....but turns out, that was because the speed controlling dial (whatever that's called) was set on the slowest mode =.=

So...yeah.....it wasn't until Kevin caught up with me, I realized that I was hitting about 3 mi/hr =.=

And yesterday, my family went to Big City to buy some stupid stuff....mom: black jacket, me: pants and a sweater, dad: paper weights......and afterwards, we went to a dance studio because I'm thinking of taking dance lessons....

Can someone come with me???? :3

Anyways, we spent like 7 hours outside, so today I piled up quite a bit of homework.....but I more fine with it because yesterday was "family time".......So I think it's okay.....

Will someone join with me on a dance class????? :)))))

Club

Club was hilarious.....we practically laughed the entire period.....

Because we practically had nothing planned, we played a couple of silly games....

The first game we played was 5 words.....a person makes up 5 words for a story, and the next person has to continue the story, and they have to say 5 words....and so on....if you pause for more than 3 seconds, you'll have to stand in the middle of the circle and tell an impromptu speech that is one minute long, but the topic is decided by Eileen.

For example: James-Jesus walked out of the....Jeremy-bathroom and ate some cheesecake.....Brian-he then went to Starbucks......Me-to buy a Frappuccino and.....Jessie-a cup of hot chocolate......Ophelia- and ate some more cheesecake....

The second game is kind of similar, though, each person would have to make up a story with the person before providing 5 words....and the story needs to be 1 minute long..

Example: Banana, apocalypse, guppies, popcorn, Bob.....

Then we played this game where a person, or a group of people, go outside the room and we decide on who that person/people they are supposed to be....and we each ask him/her/them a question, hinting who they are supposed to be....

But at one point, Ben was supposed to be "Ms. Pamela who went into the cafeteria and did pushups on a table"......and Jessie asked, "Do you like walking down the hallways? (inside joke)", and Ben said, "Only without my shirt".....and Victor was like, "Now I need to try to unthink that"......

lol

Then we played telephone......and it turned from "Once upon a time there was a snake name Nate, and he likes big butts and he cannot lie. Then his mother died and he was very sad."....to "there was a boy who's mother died"......yeah......

FAIL.

Then we played a game called the dating game.....and well.....1 girl/boy listens to answers from 3 of the opposite gender (they have different personalities).....so...yeah....

Amanda was the girl, while Ben, James, and Victor were the boys answering questions...

Amanda ended up choosing Ben because she didn't want to date a guy who was 79 years old (James) and a guy who would bury her in the sand on a beach on their first date (Victor)....

And at one point, Eileen asked Victor what his favorite color was and he replied, "PANSY PURPLE :D"...

Yup....this turned out to be a long post........

I hate Newton

Yesterday, I slept at 3:00 A.M =.=

Because I did my Newton Book until 12:00 A.M and I thought it would be stupid to just give up when I already finished half of what I had to do.....

And I really needed those extra 7 points.....

So yeah....surprisingly I wasn't too tired.....

But pretty much nothing happened today...

Oh, and Michelle and I decided on the people to experiment with by dropping a small bead on the school's list of students :)

Well, it's going to be hard work, since there are so many people to experiment with, and also, the information is due on next Tuesday.......

Yeah....wish us luck...

So school started yesterday...but I forgot to write my blog yesterday....

Maybe because I was doing my Newton Book.....

Ok, so.....I was NOT happy with our Christmas break.....NOT AT ALL.....

Our whole class practically spent the entire break doing homework....

I mean, 5 projects, and 6 assignments in 2 weeks?! That's insane....if they're going to give us a break, they might as well LET us have a break =.=

Seriously, I'd rather have school then.....

And Ms. Liu gave us an incredibly annoying project called the Newton Book, basically the book is 32 pages and you have to fill every page according to the instructions she gave.....

I mean, you can't get mad at Ms. Liu.....she so nice =w=

But anyways, it's due tomorrow and I still haven't finished this, so I have to go back and work on it quickly...
