What do I say???
I haven't written on this blog for a long time. And I still don't have much to say.
Trust me, I have a lot of things going on right now, but most of it it wouldn't make sense if I told the world about it on this blog. And you know, it is a public blog, so I can't exactly tell everyone EVERYTHING I'm thinking right now.
And not a lot has happened lately (that isn't private), so I really don't have anything to write.
Winter break will be over in a week. And I'm sad. I want more breaktime <---that did not make sense
Right after we return, all our projects are due and we have....5 finals waiting for us???
So I guess you really can't call this winter break....teachers...they don't want us to rest, do they?
Basically, I went to Yilan last week for 4 days, and I had to bring my homework with me because I didn't think I could finish it and NOT THINK of it during my vacation.
In other words, homework is my life. Darn it.
Just a blog to write down anything that happens in life....don't read it if you're not interested...it's probably not going to be that interesting anyways... Oh, and by the way....I only post on Sunday to Thursday......Sounds cool???

I should write more
I should really start writing more on this blog, it feels empty.
But I've just been so busy lately, I slept at 1 AM every night for a week. Busy busy.
Yesterday was the worst, I accidentally deleted clips from imovie, and the project I finished and was ready to be turned in was completely deleted. Basically, the three hours spent on Friday for the project was wasted.
And so I took two hours to repair everything.
After I finished, I found out I didn't have enough space to export the movie, and imovie told me to relaunch it, so I did, and when I opened it back up, half of it was deleted AGAIN.
So I took ANOTHER 2 hours to repair it because I completely forgot what the sequence for my project was.
Yeah...the same thing has happened to my CNN news project, but at least I still have a first draft of it, now all I have to do it import the first draft back into imovie and edit THAT. The only problem is, imovie won't import the 10 minute video. So basically, I'm seriously hoping for the best and wishing that imovie will let me import the stupid video.
Wish me luck, and pray that imovie will be nice to me.
Ps. Cheerleading competition is this Saturday!!! Even though I'm not performing (I'm a backup flyer), I'm still pretty nervous.

...
It's been about....2 months (?) since I last updated this blog. So I think I should at least write something on here -_-
Er....there's not much to talk about, but I'll just talk about today.
So our school had a Thanksgiving potluck-event-thing-whatever and it was better than last year. I ate way more chocolate then I should, and I probably gained a few pounds from this event LOL.
But yeah, even though I totally overreached the capacity of my stomach, it was fun (in a...delicious way?).
After that we had a dodgeball event and well...there's not much to talk about. Except for Kevin and Jeremy (who, by the way, was reading in a corner. Shocker, huh?), all the boys in our class went over to a corner and huddled up to play on their ipads. Quite frankly, I'm not shocked. They were talking about our graduation trip some time ago (4 more months!!!!!), and I overheard them discussing if they should bring their computer, ipad, or both.
If they actually went on the trip, I trust they they would bring all their electronics and forget to bring underwear.
Well, that's it for today. Ciao!

Cheerleading
I realized that I haven't been posting on my blog a lot lately...I apologize :-/
But something has happened that I thought was very big: I was promoted to a flyer in cheerleading O_o
What.
So, originally I was a base. A not-so-important base. It was more like a backup than an actual part of the team. I know that backups are in the team too, but I'm not exactly a "necessary" part.
But then, we had a couple of new people added to our team, and enough people to make a separate group. So I was chosen to be the flyer of that group O_o
Tbh, I'm not exactly sure why I was chosen to be a flyer. I mean, I'm obviously not the lightest nor the strongest of the other girls =.=
People tell me not to be nervous, for the other 3 people in my group are boys. But you can't help but be nervous about mistakes right? Especially because almost everyone in our group was new to their assigned job.
Funny story. I'm the heaviest in all the flyers. Weird. But when I actually told the coach what my weight was, he and 4 other girls all replied: 屁啦
....
I'm not going to say what weight I am across the internet world. But all I can say is, is it that hard to believe? =.=

SO MUCH MINT.....part 2
Okay, I'm not exactly sure why, but today I was exceptionally tired. No kidding.
And we had a history test, so I ate 15 mints in 1 hour......to keep myself awake for the test.
And you have no idea....how painful it was to drink water during that time. That REALLY woke me up.....Well, at least I stayed awake after that one giant gulp of water. I couldn't fall asleep after that because my throat burned from the mint =.=
Lol, Michelle fell asleep twice during the test and ran out of time for the test XD
Good luck Michelle. Although, I only noticed you falling asleep the second time...how'd you wake up the first time?
And in spanish....I ate 5 more mints to keep myself awake, even though in the end I started nodding off anyways....but afterwards, I was fine. Or maybe it was because I was so excited that there were only 10 minutes of class left lol.
So that was a total of 20 eclipses.....in 2 hours =.=
Wow Alice, you just broke a world record.

Bad luck....
I am cursed.
Today was a relatively unlucky day for me.
First of all, I forgot to bring my math workbook to school and it had my homework in there. Our teacher gives an immediate 0 to late homework, regardless if you did it or not. And what makes me angry is.....the homework was 4 lessons. 4. 4! And I actually spent A LOT of time doing those 4 lessons. So it's a bummer that I get four 0's because I forgot to bring the book to school. Also, I got a 13 out of 18 on my last quiz, because I didn't read the questions carefully and got quite a few wrong. So it's going to be VERY hard to catch up now....
At lunch, we had our hunger banquet, and I got middle class. Not that bad. But the higher class people get subway, fried rice, salad, cookies, and 3 bottles of soda. Middle class......we get the school lunch's slimy noodles. And low income people get a bowl of white rice and a bowl of clean water.
In history, we had to present our Roman travel project. Turns out, I did not read my handout. And so I missed the important details that said that we had to put a map, itinerary, and no text on the powerpoint....we did not see ANY of that and so....yeah. Idk what will happen. We actually did a pretty good job explaining, but we didn't read the handout....
And in Spanish....we had a test. I guess it wasn't that bad, since I knew it was coming. But I didn't have time to study. Well, it wasn't THAT hard. But still. Tests are a no-no for us.
I guess the only good news I had today was in English. Ms. Kennedy gave me a 53 out of 50 for my author project :)
But anyways, bad, bad, bad, and one small happy event. Yay?

Kickball
I would write my homework, but I'm just not feeling it. So I might as well not waste the time playing Candy Crush or something and actually write my blog.
Well, one exciting news today. P.E finals are on Thursday, and guess how well we did today? 8 - 0. We won! First time ever! Playing against Alan's team, we were actually pretty bad lol. But strangely enough, our team improves really fast. Nice.
And um yeah, hope we win :D
Although, I wouldn't really count on it because Alan's team wasn't really....paying attention today? And plus Jessie couldn't run because her knees were injured, so they weren't exactly in "prime condition" today.
But still. 8 - 0? That's big. Especially for our team. Considering Michelle and Sandy's team scored 10 points easily, but for the last few games, Alan and our team couldn't get past 2 points lol.
So yeah. 8 points! Woohoo.
May the odds be with us.
Btw, our hunger banquet is tomorrow. Good luck to everyone and hope you don't get rice and water lol. (I brought a sandwich. Just in case, you know.)

Hoot hoot
We have a 4 day break from school because of Mid-Autumns Festival.
Yay.
Of course, we have a lot of homework......but that's ok, it's manageable (kinda).
We have quite a few projects, but it's nice to be able to do homework less stressfully....so yeah.
Happy Mid-Autumns Festival everyone!

Hey
I realized that I haven't written my blog in 3 days....oopsies :P
But I have been a bit busy lately (guess who's homework was taking all my time?) and I just hadn't gotten the chance to update my blog.
I do have quite some homework for the weekend, but I can't find myself to concentrate on my history essay, so I might as well take the time to write a post.
Yesterday, cheer practice was canceled because the juniors were taking the ERB test (both our captain and co-captain were juniors). And so I stayed after school to do a poster.
Ok, let me back up. Here's the thing. Our MUN teacher told us on Monday that he'll email us what assignments he wanted us to do. But he emailed it to us at Wednesday night saying that we had a poster due on Monday. Worst of all, it was a group project. Like what? We had two more days of school left before the weekends. But no. That's how he rolls. So yesterday afternoon, I stayed with my partner, Sean, to make our friggin poster.
Funny thing is, almost all the groups stayed after school to do the posters, so we all hung out at the locker area and chatted. Well, that's what you get when a teacher gives you 4 days to do a project. I mean, how can he expect excellent quality work if he doesn't give us enough time? PLUS, that wasn't the only assignment he gave.
On Thursday afternoon, the MUN club had a conference. And Mr. Lex had asked if we could've stayed to help pass notes. But we were all too busy with homework that no one went. So Mr. Buscher ended up being the one to pass notes around.
Henry told me that Mr. Lex was so mad, he said that our next quiz would be really difficult. But the thing is, he had the nerve to say so, even though he gave so much homework that it wasn't manageable.
He acts as if we only have homework from his class and gives tons, saying "oh, you guys have so much time to lollygag, you guys can just finish this easily".
And he asks for respect.....wat.
Sorry for the rant, but he is not exactly Mr. lovely-teacher there.
Oh, and since our cheer practice was canceled, it was scheduled for tomorrow from 3~6. I'll look forward to the heavy training and exercising.

Caligula
In history class, each of us were assigned to draw a bust of a famous person and write a short paragraph about him. And I got Caligula.
I spent an HOUR drawing this thing. So no one. NO ONE. Says a word about how bad this looks ok?
I couldn't draw the nose, so I just shaded the thing in like this sculpture: http://british-history.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/caligula1.jpeg
AN HOUR. Wasted on a project that I could've just printed out in 5 minutes. And worst of all, I'm not even DONE with this project, I still need to write that dang paragraph.
Sighhhhh. I should get back to this thing. I still have a lot of homework left....
But the good news is, tomorrow is Thursday! (yayyy) Which is our "no need of our brain" day. So. At least nothing is due tomorrow :)

FOOD
Mom bought some chips. Yummo.
Thank you mom! :D
You're da best.
Anyways, today is Tuesday, which is probably the worst day of the week for us. We have Algebra, English, world history, and Spanish in the same day. Like wat. And on Thursday, we have art, science, P.E, and we originally had music (but it was switched with computer). Like wth, schedule. Sure. Pile all the homework on one day and all the easy classes on Thursday.
Yeah, apparently I left my math workbook at home today, and couldn't turn in my homework. The thing is I convinced our teacher to not give me a zero since it's a first time. Yeah, that's just how much of a teacher's pet I am (then again, I forgot my homework. Nvm that).
What else....nope, I think that's it for today. Baiiiiiiii

Cheer Practice
Friday was our first cheer practice :)))))
It was tiring. My muscles still hurt and are still sore now. :333
Whoever said cheer was easy, I'll strangle you. We did toe-touches, push-ups, leg lifting, etc.
And the 4 people who did the best at push-ups--Michelle (takes gymnastics), Cici (takes ballet), Angela (cheer captain), and Charlotte (co-captain)--became our flyers, which is basically the most tiring job.
And I got the second most tiring job.....lifting Michelle up =.=
Sighhh......my goal is to do like 5 push-ups, stretch, and toe-touch everyday. I need to be more flexible =.=

Audition
Ms. Ivy, our music teacher, wants us to perform our own version of High School Musical. Basically, a simpler, shorter version with only 8 characters: Troy, Gabriela, Ryan, Sharpay, Chad, Taylor, Coach Bolton, and Ms. Darbus.
And today, we just tested everyone's singing skills.
Well then.
Audition for the parts is next week. And I have a bad feeling for some characters (*ahem*, all the boys). For girls, it'll be pretty easy to pick. I mean, almost everyone can sing. Boys.
....
'Nuff said.
And the rest of our class would be stage art, script cutters, and.....prop preparing???
I'm the director. So I don't really need to sing HA.
Yeah.......I kinda don't want to be the director though. Just because I don't want this to turn into bozo-kabaddi-oh-god.
Yeah. My life is a mess.

Cheer Team
So. Today we had our first cheer meeting. And today was just an icebreaker and poster making.
We met all the cheer members and learned all their names (although to be fair, there was only one person's name that was new to me, but hey, I'm awesome that way). Then we made posters for our bake sale on Friday.
And. Omigosh. Meghan, an art student, drew the best looking poster ever. I provided the ideas to how the poster should look and everything (like what we should draw, the words, the style of writing, etc.) and I brought a collection of colorful sharpies. Woohoo. This was what we used as a base for our poster:
What we did was, Meghan copied the entire picture (I provided the picture), but changed the cupcake into a chocolate-banana flavored one (that's what we're selling :D) and we wrote "Cheer Yourself Up With a Cupcake" in big letters. But we wrote the words "Cheer" and "Cupcake" in colorful letters and the rest in black smaller letters to emphasize on our point (my idea, not to sound totally obnoxious or anything XD).
Anyways, even though I provided the whole idea on our poster, I didn't actually do much work. I colored in some words, but I didn't actually draw anything....so....yeah.....I would credit Meghan more. And Cici, for writing the awesome looking words.

The other poster was really cute as well; they drew a stack of colorful cupcakes (how can you NOT be happy when you see rainbow cupcakes?! I mean, c'mon). Their's is more informational, like how much each cupcake costs, where we're selling, who's selling, etc....While our's is more of an advertisement to catch people's attention to come buy cupcakes.

If you're from our school, BUY CUPCAKES. YEAH.

Camp Taiwan
I hate it.
I really do.
For the first day, we were late for our first activity because the counselors didn't bother calling us for our first activity. Like what? And when we asked them where the basketball court was (our first activity was basketball), they said "oh, just go up the hill".
That's it.
We actually got lost and normally, it takes about 10 minutes to walk all the way up to the basketball court. BUT NO. They were too lazy to guide us up. We ended up wasting 30 minutes trying to find the stupid basketball court.
God.
The second day, they actually wrote "lodge" on our schedule. And they actually ANNOUNCED that we had to go up to the lodge for our first activity. Guess what? We wasted 30 minutes walking up there and waiting for someone to FRIGGIN COME. When we asked the counselor at the basketball court (it was nearby), he said that we had to go to the lodge for cooperative games. When we told him there was NO ONE THERE, he asked where our group was supposed to be with the walkie talkie.
...
It was at the FRIGGIN CLIMBING WALL. We could've just walked up from the tent, up the stairs to get there. So we went back DOWN the stupid hill. And the counselor acted as if it were our fault we didn't know they changed the location. And she pretty much ignored Cici and me for like 30 minutes, because they were in the middle of playing a game.
1 hour wasted. Just like that.
At least I got some exercise.
And did I mention it was raining so hard yesterday it practically FLOODED whole the place? No? NOW YOU KNOW.
I really do.

Camp
So, we're heading off to Camp Taiwan tomorrow.
You see, I've been to Camp Taiwan before when I was 3rd and 4th grade. And I heard they upgraded their equipment and facilities. So. Yay?
Also, originally the camp was supposed to start on Wednesday. But it was postponed because of the typhoon. Pooh.
And what I DON'T find fair is, the 9th graders get to live in the log cabin, where there's AC and indoor toilets. And they're all boys. Wth. And the elementary kids have to stay in tents. Wat.
One of the elementary kids went to camp last year and she CRIED. FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT. Because there was no AC.
The school should've given the log cabin to her. Just saying.
But anyways, I find the school incredibly STUPID when it comes to camp. If I were principal, I would've done a much better job organizing the event. I mean, come on....camp on the third day of school? Seriously? And EVERYONE KNOWS, that it WILL be postponed anyways because it's typhoon season. EVERYONE.
Our school is stupid. Period.

PE
So today was the first day of school. Bummer. And it was alright.
We got homework on the first day, but it's not THAT bad.
Apparently, our principal decided that it would be a good idea to put the entire middle school in the same PE class. Retarded business I say. 46 people in one PE class. Not fun
What really sucks is that I'm 8th grade now, and it's supposed to be our year to just have our own class as one PE class, instead of combing with some other grade.
BUT NOOOO. They had to change the rules this year. Don't even ask me why they suddenly thought this idea was a good one. IT'S NOT. 46 people in a class is way more than enough. Friggin 46 people. WHAT?
Anyways, that really sucks, and we have literally a ton of guys that LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME. Okay, not exactly, but you know what I mean. For starters, they're all Asians, like the rest of this friggin school. And yeah, same age, about the same looks, and we have to remember the whole class's name, which is the entire middle school.
Thrilling.

Hey Guys
Hey, I know I've been a little afk lately on this blog.
I promise I'll start posting more often on this blog when school starts. As soon as something interesting happens and I have time to write it, I'll post it here.
Summer vacation in Taiwan has been a bit boring to write daily. So I prefer not to bore people with things like me drinking tea and writing wordly wise.
So, expect blog posts when school starts for me ;)
I start school on August 22nd. So.
But don't expect me to post daily....some days can be boring, or maybe it's simply because I don't have time to write anything.

July 13
Today is the last day of CTY :(
I’m going to miss everyone so much. Especially our awesome RA, Susanna.
After the closing ceremony, I went home with Jessie and we’re watching The Avengers right now.
I’ll miss everyone I met in CTY….
July 9
I didn't write my blog for the past two days.
ME SHO SOWEE LA.
I didn't really feel like writing it :3
Anyways, both INBS classes (intro to biomeds) learned about the *ahem* reproductive system. Our class watched a video called Life's Greatest Miracle. And um, the giving birth part was very um....graphic.
Class B were taught about how babies were made. (awkward)
And um, Sally and Alice literally knew NOTHING about how babies were "made".
So now they're pretty upset. Because they're scarred for life. And Jacky's knees hurt so much that she started crying. :(
Our hall is not very happy today.
Be nice to us.
July 6
Today we had Carnival Night.
It was terrible for out group.
Out of 9 games, we only won 1 game. But in almost all of the games, the other team was not being fair.
For the ball tossing game, we were only allowed to throw underhand, but the other team all threw overhand or the first half of the game.
For the Janga game we were getting really upset, since some of our team members didn't know how to play Janga, and they randomly put the blocks on the tower. Of course, the ENTIRE FRIGGIN THING FELL DOWN.
The only game we won was the egg and spoon race, where you had to balance the ball on the spoon in your mouth and walk to the bucket to put it in.....after spinning around your head with a bat 5 times.
Yeah....we lost pretty badly and everyone was upset. Some were upset that we lost. Some didn't think it wa very fair. Some were crying because they thought they shouldn't have yelled at their team members in a moment of high pressure.
The one that really got us upset was the dress up game. We won the game fair and square, but the other team accused us of cheating. And they demanded a rematch, but they were being immature and sore losers, and demanded that we had a rematch AGAIN. And that is the story of how that stupid team won that game.
So please, if you ever get a chance to go CTY, please don' be immature or a sore loser like the team in dress up. It just makes others feel really bad and upset.

July 5
Well, today we had the dance. And the theme was.....Star Wars.
-_______-
Yeah. As if I totally have this Princess Leia in my suitcase when I came to the US.
So I went with normal clothes .___.
My. Friggin. Feet. HURT.
Too. Much. Dancing.
Wth.
I need to rest my feet. My poor feet o.o
Bye.
July 4
Happy 4th of July!
Technically I don't celebrate it, but I have friends who celebrate them.
In the cafeteria, all the desserts were July 4th themed. Blue cupcakes with red and white sprinkles, cookies with red, blue, and white sugar, and cake pops covered with red, white, and blue colored chocolate.
Yum.
Today I joined the activity called Toilet Paper Prom. And it's where you have to make a dress and tuxedo on the models--in 30 minutes--out of toilet paper, a yard if tape, and 2 sheets of foil. Then the models have to have a fashion show to show everyone the clothes.
![]() |
| I didn't take a picture of the tux because it was too embarrassing lol |
And yeah.....there's nothing that special to talk about today....
Well, talk to ya later.
July 3
Today we had a midterm :O
It won't affect your grde or anything at all because we don't HAVE grades. But if you get lower than 90%, you won't get the test back. Supposedly, the test was easy. There are only 16 questions. But I'm pretty sure I got less than 60% -_______________-
Sighhhhh.....

July 2
We dissected a cow's eyeball today!!! It was really fun. More fun than the brain. I video taped the whole process.
In our activities, I signed up for tag. And we played freeze tag, toilet tag (awkward), and tunnel tag (more awkward).
Yeah...
That's pretty much all I have to say for today.
Sorry about the lackin of interesting events. But there really wasn't much to say. Tomorrow is twin day.

July 1
Weekends are over now :(
Class time is back. And we no longer have that much free time. Bummer.
Btw, the activity I signed up for was capture the flag. Which I actually DO like, so it's fine.
BUT there was this girl who crashed into a guy, and the skin under her eyebrow SPLIT. OMG. I seriously hope she's okay. She was sent to the hospital I think, because it looked like she would need stitches for that.
Hope she gets well.
Anyways, class time was relatively okay. And while we were at the computer lab, I tried being a rebel an logged into my mail. Turns out I have 26 unread mails. I'm going nuts about not being able to read them D:
Sighhh...I'm going to go ask Sally for a password now. Hope it works. Talk to you soon. Bye.
June 30
Okay. How did this just happen?
I was going to wake up at 5:20 to do laundry. And I set three alarms, each alarm ten minutes apart in case I continue sleeping.
But I slept through all three alarms and woke up at 6:50 O_o
I later found out the volume was tirned off. Stupid. But fortunatly, Aditi's group had an extra space, so went with them for laundry and also lunch.
They are some wikedly cool people :)
We swapped stories and chatted at lunch. I also found out that there was a Taiwanese girl in their group who is from TAS :D
After that, we went to this thing called One Minute to Win it. And our entire floor basically all lost in the first round :-/
So it wasn't that fun afterwards for us :(
Also, I'm REALLY disappointed with my activities this week. The weeklong activities had 5 sports, and I hate sports. I chose reading afterwards, even though I hate the fact that we just sit at a fountain and read for a while week. I finally got to choose a little earlier, but I gave in two times to another person because she really wanted those activities since her friend was in it. So I'm like seriously bummed out by this week's activities. None of what I chose was what I like to do, and some I actually hate to do.
Today did NOT end with such a happy note.
June 29
It's Saturday :D
There isn't any class today, so today is just purely fun time.
Our RA, Susanna took us to Starbucks and I got a vanilla bean frappucino. Yum.
Today is awesome, you get so much free time :D
And then we had a scavenger hunt. It was super hot outside, but we actually did a really good job. We were supposed to find books according to the clues we have. And when we got the book, we need to rip out the last page of the book. The higher the number, the more points. We got 13 pages :D
And then we use the points to buy supplies for building a tower. Highest tower wins. We didn't make it to the finalists. But I still thought we did a great job.
After that we had Casino Night. It was ao fun. I actually didn't play any of the games. And in the middle, there was a "robbery" of the bank. And Sally lost ALL of her money because she got robbed in the process. BUT we got the idea of telling all the RA's that we got completely robbed while we hid our money in our pockets. Surprisingly, we got a lot of money, because Quinten gives like $200 or $300 to robbed people.
Turns out I got about $900 to $1,000. But our group wasn't nearly as close to Aditi's group. They got like $7,000 in total more than us O_o
They benefitted from the robbery because everyone in their group grabbed the money as fast as they could when the robbery happened. Impressive.
And also, there's this VIP room. But you need a VIP pass to go in. My friends had fake ones, so they were sent to "jail". I just followed them because there were sofas in jail. I eventually got into the VIP room but I thought it was a waste of money. Unless you wanted to see the "godfather", who I didn't know about until the very end.
But the night ended with a happy note again. Even if we did get robbed, and I got all my money from lying.
June 28
Today we had the best party ever :D
Like, in the middle of the dance, we went to the gaming room to play card games. It was SO fun :O
We played bs, Egyptian War, and Palace. Surprisingly, I actually won both rounds of bs. First place. But that just means I'm really good at lying .___.
Funny thing is, I was the only Asian who wasn't Korean. So when they were talking to each other in Korean, people are like "why can't you understand them?". I'm just like "I speak Chinese" =.=
So the day ended with a happy note :D
June 27
Day 4 and still no wifi....I am so proud of myself :D
But I'm going nuts. No Facebook, Gmail, Youtube, Skype, or even contacting my friends :(
I can't contact my Taiwanese friends because I would need their American phone number. Plus, they are in a completely different time zone.
I want to chat with someone D:
Especially Michelle. We could spend an hour talking about Modern Family :P
Ok, enough of that.
So um, there's 30 minutes until lights out. And yeah, I'm kinda tired so....bye?
June 26
Erm.....yeah. Day 4 of no wifi primitive life. I'm probably going to talk about some downsides of CTY today.
First of all, no wifi. Yes, NO WIFI. I'm hoing nuts about not being able to contact with my friends for 3 weeks. And you can't use it AT ALL. Unless you have wifi on your phone or it's an emergency.
Showers are limited. Um, thr showers are relatively clean and in ok shape. But there are 5 showers for 40 girls. And we don't even have a "shower hour". We shower after hall meetings, during social time, or in the early morning. Enough said.
Some things are a bit disorganized. For example, the swimming activity group didn't have a swimming pool. And the arts and crafts ativity group had no classroom; we were locked out. And our class didn't have permission to the computer lab or the library. Which we were going to use to research. But to be fair, our original teacher had to cancel at last minute, so the substitute teachers had to fill in and take over. And they wrote a new syllabus in 3 days. The syllabus we looked at on the website wasn't entirely correct because it was written bu the previous teacher.
Social time isn't really social time. I mean, how do you socialize when you also need to shower, maybe dry your hair, call your parents...social time is too short, or at least make us come back earlier or make a shower hour.
They don't provide a hair dryer...that wasn't written on the list, but I brought it anyways. So that's good -_______-
Btw, we have this guy in our class called Hansub, his name kinda sounds like handsome. Funny.

Happy Birthday Lucy :D
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Sorry I'm not in Taiwan to personally wish you a happy birthday.
I hope you have a good one.
Ps. I'm out of CTY today.
Sorry I'm not in Taiwan to personally wish you a happy birthday.
I hope you have a good one.
Ps. I'm out of CTY today.
June 25
Today is my official technically third day of CTY.
And I'm proud of myself for snagging a shower yesterday night and showering for 7 min.
Since there are only 5 showers for 40 people. We have to either shower really quickly at night, or shower at early in the morning (you can take as long as you want in the morning, until someone comes to shower).
Btw, I'm not too fond of the class any more. It's kinda boring when you pretty much don't really know your classmates. It's not really the class or the teacher, it's kinda just me :P
And today there was a fire drill!
Like, omg, I wish our RA told us earlier so I wouldn't be walking outside, in public, when it's cold and raining, in star print pants and a white pajama top...
Yeah. That wasn't too pleasant =.=
Anyways, there was this mystery activity that I signed up for. And it was basically games. It was pretty fun, at least it wasn't something I didn't like :D
So that's it for today :)
June 24
So...I'm writing on my blog again. And it's about my camp CTY. And I'll be weiting this whenever I have something to write about.
Since CTY doesn't allow me to use wifi (at all!!!), I will post this on my blog once I get to Jessie's house. So if you're reading this right now, I'm at Jessie's house.
Okay. This is my technically 4th day at CTY, since the first day was just regesteration and orientation.
And we had our first class! I didn't know like...anything, while everyone else was like blurting out names and answers. The people here (at lestour class) are like really nerdy.
And there are 13 boys and 5 girls in our class .____________.
It was pretty fun. We learned about body parts (I know), different types of cells, and we did a lab about bone lengths and height. It doesn't sound that interesting, but it actually is :D
Btw, did I mention that the meals are AWESOME? It's delicious :D
There are like fries, bacon, salad bar, desserts, hamburgers, pizzas, etc.
Yum.
And we have something called RA groups where a RA in in charge of about 15 people. And my RA is Susanna. My roommate, Shefali, is in the RA group, course, and section as I am.
Yeah.
They give quite a lot of room in our dorm. So that's nice.
That's all for today and stalk me if you want to see the next post :P

So Much Mint :3
Today was a pretty smooth day for me...even though we had a difficult science test.
History class wasn't half bad for us...there wasn't much criticizing or anything for our comedy script. And we actually had some fun.
Nana brought this type of mint candy, that is so tiny, it's literally the size of an eraser shred. And let me tell you, it may be small...but it is MIGHTY.
Like HOLY CRAP, when you put it in your mouth, it tastes pretty good. But after a couple seconds, it bursts open. AND OH MY GOSH, IT BURNS.
Here's the process: at first you're like "ohhh...", and then you're like "ahhh...", then you're like "AHHHHHHHH$%ˆ*&*OYGIVEOG@Rˆ*$#S$ER".
And we dared Alan to put five of those candies in his mouth at once. At first he was like "oh, it's ok..."
(Few minutes later)
"HOLY SHIZZZ OH MY GOD!!!!"
His face was red...like RED. And his eyes were all watery from the sting. I kind of feel bad for him but it was hilarious XD
And in science class, he kept clicking his tongue...I guess the minty breath is still there :-/

Dreadful
Well, this week was incredibly dreadful.
Not exactly sure why, but our teachers actually give the most homework near the end of the year...which is the exact OPPOSITE from last year. Last year, we had the most homework in quarter 2 and 3. This year, I guess because teachers are rushing to teach everything so they pile up the homework.
And also tests. This week alone we have 5 tests. And next week, we have more tests =.=
We get the most homework and pressure from that one specific teacher *ahem*, who has no sense of TIME. Seriously. What kind of idiot teacher will want us to make two masks for a play in 2 days?
Really now? Get a watch. Even better...get a more respectful brain.
Sorry for the whole "bashing" and rant. But honestly, I hardly have enough time to write on my blog.
Teachers, please be more considerate to the students :(
We have other subjects' homework too, you know?

Lacking
Sorry about the lacking of blogging lately, it's just that I've either been really busy or really lazy.
Um, there really isn't much to say today, but I knew I had to write on my blog or I won't get the extra credit for it =.=
I recently made an account on ask.fm....so...if you want to ask me questions and stuff, visit this link: http://ask.fm/puffy37
Ask anything. Anything at all. Because I could use a little fun and "socializing" in my life.
So that's that.
And today we finished filming the entire scene where Alan and Jessie are needed. Next week we'll meet up again, but this time we only need Michelle, Nana, me, and some person who's willing to film for us.
That's the really long scene we have to film...but I guess if we don't finish, we still have one week to finish it???
But let's hope we finish next week, because 1) I'm really sick of staying after school to film, and 2) I need some time to edit and put everything together too =.=

Erm.
Yeah, I didn't write my blog for two days in a row. Sorry about that.
It's just that I wasn't feeling it, and there really wasn't much to talk about. I guess I can talk about MUN but it's not that interesting.
So, MUN ended on Saturday.
And there was this part that was funny. Here's pretty much what happened:
DPRK: My fellow delegates, this clause SUCKS...........
(questioning time)
Russia: By your definition of "sucks", exactly which part sucks?
DPRK: ALL of it. Everything in this clause sucks.
Russia: By all of it, is DPRK also included?
DPRK: That is a VERY GOOD QUESTION. If DPRK were to stop all nuclear weapons processing, then yes, DPRK would suck.
Keep in mind that the delegates speak for their country, it's not necessarily their own opinion. Which is probably why DPRK is voted as "most likely to be assassinated".
And after a long day of MUN, Michelle, Ophelia, and I went to California Pizza Kitchen for a bit of fun. DELICIOUS.

I Hate Today
Today was a seriously blurry day.
After school, we planned to just finish off the scene for Janis and Damian. Since we had two hours to film.
BUT we had admin staff. Apparently, the school didn't bother to tell us earlier and told us right after the school bell rung.
So we only had one hour to film. But what happened was, I put Jessie's makeup on perfectly, and did her hair perfectly. We were all set. But then Michelle came and told us that she asked everyone where Alan was, and they all said he went home. So we took everything off of Jessie.
BUT when we went back, we passed by Mr. Joubert's room. And saw Alan sitting there playing video games.
...
But we decided that we were too tired and worn out and sick of this, and we decided not to film. Film next time. Yeah.
And since, we had like and hour and a half left till we leave, we went to buy some tempura and drinks. And when we came back, Alan came out.....he looked terrified to see us. Ha.
Well, hopefully next time, we get a better shot at this.
By the way, tomorrow is PASMUN, but, Amanda told us today that we could ONLY wear a button up and jeans. So much for that dress I bought.

Birthday
Well, today is Jessie's birthday :)
And I gave her this pretty cute key holder, I bought it from Hong Kong's Ocean Park. And it's only available there, so...I guess that makes it kind of special -___-
Also, they said it was one of their best sellers, so......Plus, I thought it was a neat idea how they designed it, because you can really put A LOT of keys on it, and it has this cute anchor hanging from it.
So yeah, happy birthday Jessie.
And here is the boring news: we had our IOWA Test today on...MATH.
The math concepts was really easy, because that was what I was better at. But I was extremely slow on the estimation and computation part. I'm not really sure WHY, but I have a slow calculating brain. it's not really a lack of practice or anything, my brain just doesn't really work with the whole "equations and operations" thing.
Yeah. Well, tomorrow we have social studies and science I guess. Wish me luck =.=

Filming
Today actually went pretty well.
I mean, we filmed more in 20 minutes than we did for 2 hours. So that's pretty impressive.
And I'm impressed with my makeup and hair skills :D
Honestly, I don't think Jessie looked that bad, because instead of black eyeshadow and eyeliner, I replaced them with the exact same thing, but with brown. Because my mom doesn't wear eye makeup, so she doesn't feel the need to buy it and stuff.
But I mean, in 20 minutes we filmed 8 seconds. It may seem really slow, but it's actually really hard to adjust everything. Hey, last time we did it, we took 2 hours to film nothing.
Nice.
Oh, and we have PASMUN admin staff this Friday and Saturday. All until 6~7 PM D:
I bought a dress for it. So....I'm kinda hoping that someone else is dressing as formal as I am, or I'll look really stupid.

IOWA Tests
So well, we had our first day with the whole "IOWA Test" thing. And I realized that pretty much 90% of the questions were the same as the ones we did last year.
Shocking.
Well, on the bright side, we won't have any homework for History or math for this entire week. Which is nice, since math is one of the subjects that takes the crap out of your time.
Also, we're filming our scene tomorrow...well, I'm not expecting us to film much, since we all leave pretty early, and Jessie's makeup and hair could take a while.
But I mean, at least we can test out how the makeup and hair looks. Better than nothing right?
And well, we have IOWA Tests for the whole week...so I have to sleep earlier everyday.
Wish me luck.

Warm Fuzzy Feeling. Just so WONDERFUL.
Today we had our final round of the debate.
And this time, we were actually on the proposition side. And to be honest with you. I literally made my essay in 30 minutes because I was in a real hurry.
But I mean, we won. So, yeah :)
The other team did great too. And like, we're pretty much all relieved that it's finally over.
A preview of what my argument was about:
"Calling someone ‘fat’ doesn’t make you skinnier, calling someone ‘ugly’ doesn’t make you prettier, calling someone ‘stupid’ doesn’t make you smarter."
(You can tell what my favorite movie is, right?)
But yeah...in a...relatively good mood today. Because nothing seems to be too depressing and stuff.
Oh, but there is this one thing that I found funny today. Our math teacher, Ms. Cynthia couldn't come today, so we had a substitute. And it was none other than the Ms. Sue. Now, she just told us to do everything on our class worksheet without even teaching us how to do it. And usually, in 45 minutes we finish one lesson, maybe not even one. But she literally finished TWO lessons all in one class period.
And, she had us calculate all the questions on the worksheet, which SHE was supposed to explain to us how to solve it. And there was this one question.
And here's what happened:
Ophelia: is the answer 19?
Ms. Sue: yes, the answer is 13, good girl!
?!
Um, yeah. I have no idea what happened there.
(woah, that's a LOT OF 'and's)

Projects Projects Projects. All They Talk About is FRIGGIN PROJECTS.
Yesterday, I didn't post on my blog. Not because I forgot, but because I had lots of homework, ESPECIALLY this week, for some odd reason. I slept at 11 PM :-/
Okay, I'm going to make up for yesterday's. So, yesterday we had art class, which was great. Except, I accidentally sat on this piece of paper completely COVERED with blue paint, because I had no idea someone put it there. And yeah. My Pants. Were screwed.
Basically, you'll only see me wear it again as pajama pants.
So, today I STILL have a lot of homework. Tomorrow, I have a big poster project for science due. It counts for a test grade. And I have to TRANSLATE, yes, translate an excerpt from the Hebrew Bible into my own words (it's in English, but here's an example of what it's like: nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes). Oh, and did I mention that it has 4 chapters? And each chapter is literally a BLOCK of words? Because apparently, the guy who translated it was too lazy to put verse by verse into separate lines. We also have literature circles...and Darren HAD to give me the worst job possible, the Literary Luminary. And of course, Ms. Cynthia gave us one lesson of math that's due on Thursday, as well as a 4 page worksheet that's due on Friday. And also we have one ENTIRE essay for debate to write. Because Michelle's group and my group both won, and we're both opposition. So after a coin toss, Michelle's team chose to be opposition.....which means WE have to rewrite our entire argument and redo our research. And all of the homework mentioned above has not been done yet.
Thrilling.
Have fun reading that block of words above, and I have to go read mine -_-

I'm Screwed
So, yesterday we went back to Taipei to celebrate Mother's Day with my extended family. And that means, all of my homework was pushed to today.
Which Sucks. Because we had a ton of homework this week :-/
ESPECIALLY MATH. There's freaking TONS of math and it's pretty difficult.
I'm not even half way DONE with my homework for this week. Because I also had to study for my science test tomorrow.
Basically, tomorrow I'll have to finish math and my science poster if I want to catch up. And so yeah. What have we learned?
Don't be an idiot and you'll actually get stuff done.

Headache Dx
Ugh, I have a headache...I freaking can't think straight!
It literally takes me 10 minutes to write one question on my Spanish homework. It's frustrating And it's making my head hurt even more D:
So don't expect me to write too much. I'll just post some pictures that will light up your day.

Believe it or not, I actually have a folder full of these. Let me know if you want to see more of these 'Clumbsy Thumbsy's lol.
And yes, if you're wondering, about 90% of the folder is all screenshots of Michelle's famous typos. Believe me, it's enough to make a folder of screenshots.

I Hate Filming. I Much Prefer Editing.
Today we filmed our scene after school, and that was a total bust.
First of all, we tried to work out the problems, such as camera instructions, discussing what we're going to do, and also fix the angles of the camera.
But it didn't turn out so well. In two hours, we practically did NOTHING. We literally filmed each other saying 6 lines -__-
So...yeah. It's pretty obvious that we have to meet up again, is it?
And Jessie had to leave at 3:50, which takes away the fun of "emotizing" a person. I was actually looking forward in putting heavy eyeliner on her eyes =.=
I have no life.
Sighhh, but our costumes look pretty good. They are quite similar to what the actors were wearing in the scene.
Swell.

Mm...
So um yeah. Today is the last day of April, and tomorrow is Darren's birthday.
Honestly, I have no idea what to give him...in fact, I don't really know what to give to any boy. All I know is that Alan has this crazy obsession with chocolate and candies, and Henry is just like a little girl.
They don't really have a hobby or something they really like, except for video gaming. And I don't really know where you an get Minecraft merchandise in Taiwan so I gave up on that.
Sighhh, I'll just wish him a happy birthday =.=
And, tomorrow I'll be staying after school to film our Speech and Debate project, if you can recall from one of my previous posts, we're filming a scene in "Mean Girls".
And I'm hoping that I can memorize my lines, because I have the most lines to speak in one take...I'm playing the role of Regina sighhh -___-
So yeah, tomorrow's blog post will be a bit later than usual.
Wish us luck.
(btw, I'm actually looking forward in "emotizing" Jessie. She's playing Janis :P)

PD Day
So um, yeah, I was home early today.
But the funny thing is, school ended at 11:30, but the bus was supposed to come at 12:10.
And the school told the bus driver to come at 12:30....what the heck. But he decided to come early, and he saw all of us sitting beside the bushes =.=
So yeah, what the heck, school?!
Anyways, the test. Our history test was actually pretty short, only 2 pages, double-sided. Not bad. And it wasn't like THAT hard, it wasn't easy, but it was manageable. Yeah.
But for the bonus question, we had to remember our own analect that we copied from Confucius. And I couldn't remember =.=
I KNEW I SHOULD'VE CHOSEN A SHORTER ONE. Ophelia's was only 6 words and was one of the most basic ones, which is easy to remember since it's so important.
GOSH.
The analects were actually outside on the wall; I could've chosen to go to the bathroom and peek at it, but I didn't because I didn't really feel like doing that.

Tests O_o
I have two tests....WHY?
At first, I thought tomorrow was a full PD day, and we tricked Mr. Lex into putting the test on that day so we won't have to take it.
But our school changed it into a HALF PD day without telling us, until one of our teachers told us last week. And what's worse is, we have a test in the morning, but we miss the fun classes, P.E and art.
I'd rather NOT have a PD day, I'd rather have a full school day then :-/
So I guess, tomorrow will be a really BAD day.
And I'm trying to study for my two tests, which are REALLY long...but I got bored of it and decided to rest for a while and write my blog...
*sighhh* I HATE TOMORROW.

Sick :(
I am actually really sick today :P
I think I got the cold from Michelle, but I think mine's is more severe than her's. And today I went to see the doctor, and fortunately, it's not the Chicken Flu. Because it has much more severe symptoms than an ordinary flu.
So yeah....I spent the whole day coughing and sniffling and sneezing, along with a really sore throat.
So, I wasn't in too good of a mood today -______-
But yeah, I finally came back home, because I had to buy some clothes for my PASMUN admin staff job. And it's pretty formal. I actually had an outfit, but because I lent it to Ophelia and she lost it, I had to buy a new outfit :-/
But I bought a dress instead, because the store didn't have any skirts that went with my button up =.=
And that is the reason why this post is so late. It's totally not because I forgot this time :P

FI.NA.LLY
FINALLY. THE DAY HAS COME.
Today in P.E, we had our final. And we won! (for the first time)
Yeah, so...happy happy happy :)
And in music class, our teacher let us eat snacks, as long as we clean it up afterwards, which is totally cool :D
And so we shared some skittles with her. We were also watching this movie called Cowboys and Aliens...which, is a pretty famous movie...
And, it's actually pretty long and we didn't finish it. But, at least we had a nice little picnic :D
So, yeah. Today was a relatively nice day for me...and so, me happy :D

Growing Old
I feel like I'm getting more and more forgetful...because I'm always forgetting to write on my blog these days...until I remember at like...8 or 9 PM.
But, anyways...today in speech and debate, we were given this very difficult project: to reenact a famous scene from a movie O.o
And luckily, we got to choose our own groups this time, and I got Michelle, Jessie, and Nana. And we chose to do a scene from "Mean Girls" :D
We chose to do the "dress/skirt/whatever scene", where Regina compliments this random girl's skirt but turns back and says to Cady: "that is the ugliest, effing skirt I've ever seen".
At first we only wanted to do that scene, with a little bit before. But since everyone needed to speak in the scene, we choose to hop a little further. So Jessie could play the role of Janis.
Basically, from one minute, to two minutes. Whoopee...

Don't Judge Me by This Title
So...um...we had our personal test for layups today in P.E....
I got 9/15, which was better than I expected...
And O.M.G Alan got a full score :-/
Curse those frog legs D:
Anyways, the whole test took up the entire class, but Nana's group still haven't tried the test yet, so they stayed even after the class ended to finish the test.
And we went ahead to art :D
We continued to finish up our carvings and started to print. Mine turned out pretty well, because mine was very easy to print :D
HA, even though mine took one of the LONGEST to carve, mine was the easiest to print...because it is extremely EASY to mess up while you're printing...whether you have too much paint, too little paint, your carving wasn't put on straight, you accidentally put a stain on the paper, etc.
You get the idea.
So yeah....I LIKE ART :D

Bus
So, today the bus almost left without me :-/
Here's the story: Michelle and I were outside buying drinks, nothing really special. But apparently the worker there wasn't going to take our order. But we thought that we would eventually be able to get to order....we didn't...
And the bus already left when I got back =.=
What's worse, is that my backpack and lunch bag were on there O_o
But they eventually came back to get me ._.
So...yeah...
I am NEVER going to do that again =.=
But I know one day, Michelle and I would look back at this and laugh...
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
Ah Well ._.
Today, in music class, we brought some food to eat. But SOME people were a BIT obvious when they were eating. I was pretty careful NOT to let the teacher hear or see us eating. But frankily, I think she knows...since some of us weren't too careful =.=
And then, she came over to sit, so we couldn't eat any more. Honestly, I don't think me eating a couple pieces a seaweed would kill, but we have a NO FOOD OUTSIDE THE CAFETERIA rule....so eh...
But because I was still hungry, Michelle and I went to go buy something to eat, since she doesn't have swimming. But....I forgot to bring my money ._.
So Michelle was kind enough to buy it for me :D
She bought a soda too...a LEGIT soda...not anything funny or weird like diet coke =.=
So yeah....currently, our pantry is empty...I NEED TO STOCK UP ON SNACKS.

HIGH
Michelle seems extra HIGH today.
First, in English class, she had zero wifi options on her computer. But then when we found out that was because she turned OFF the wifi button...she was like "eh heh heh heh heh :D"
And then, when we were in lunch, she seemed more talkative then usual: "and then we all go WEEE". The rest of us were like O_o
Yeah. Usually she's the one saying "you seem extra hyper today" to me. But today...we witness the first time ever....MICHELLE BEING EXTRA HIGH.
Did you eat chocolate in the morning, Michelle?
Because you seem to go bouncing off the walls whenever you eat chocolate. Or Jelly Beans.

P.E
Obviously I don't have any idea about what to write, SO. I'll write about P.E class.
We're in basketball season now, and well, we didn't do too well today because it was freaking HOT outside.
I wonder why it was so cold two days ago but it suddenly became so hot....ON THE VERY DAY WE GO OUT FOR P.E.
But on the bright side, our team was split into two and we had two games, and we both won :)
Because we weren't really in the mood for doing 20 push-ups =.=
HEY....THE OTHER TEAM DIDN'T DO PUSH-UPS!!!!! I literally just thought of that!
=.=
Lazyyyy.

Stuck at Home =.=
I didn't go to dance class today because I had too much homework unfinished :(
Believe it or not, I STILL have math, speech and debate, and debate club undone.
GOSH.
So after I write my blog, I'm heading straight to math.
What else?
Umm...um.....
Oh, Ophelia reactivated her Facebook account :)
Finally....because she hasn't used facebook for over half a year, since her brother deactivated it =.=
So...yeah. Big news :D
(As you can tell, I'm running out of things to say for today...)
Yeah....I really need to work on my creativity when it comes to writing thing like this....
Sorry, I promise tomorrow's blog will be way more interesting than just this.

Interesting...
Hm, turns out, our debate date was changed to April 25th...
Ah well, we needed more time to prepare anyways :)
GOSH, I've been so nervous for the whole week, and they told us today? -_-
*Sigh*
ANYWAYS, in computer class, we worked on our "imaginary pet"...using either illustrator or photoshop to draw it out.
What we did was first draw out the pet with pencil. Then we took a picture of it, opened the image up in Illustrator (at least, I used Illustrator), and traced it over with the pen tool. And then changed the colors, settings, etc...to make the pet look like how you want it to be.
Here's the result:

I really like her drawings, so I used her idea of drawing a human-like pear :)

Such a Baddie :P
Okay, what I'm about to say will make me seem like a bad student.
But in music class, our teacher just made us watch an episode of Charlie Chapman. And we really didn't feel like watching it, so guess what we did?
I asked "may I go to the bathroom?" And I went to get Michelle's phone and my earphones. So we could listen to some music.
BUT THEN. We got hungry. So I asked if I could go fill up my water bottle, and went to get some snacks.
What I got:

What I got:
- 2 bananas
- a bowl of guavas (you have NO IDEA how hard it was to put THAT in my jacket pocket)
- a bag of walnuts
And after we finished that, we were STILL hungry. So Cici went to "get some water".
And we had our picnic of:
- M&M's

The weird thing, was that the teacher never even noticed. Not even when Ophelia, Lindsey, and Cici all "went to the bathroom" at the same time, and brought in a laptop and i-pad =.=
How did we get rid of the evidence?
I put everything (yes, even the guava bowl) inside Jessie and my jacket, wrapped it all up. And once the bell rung, I carried everything out. *Viola*

Yeah. Um. Hi.
So. Um...hey.
Yeah....I have nothing to write about. Today was a really boring and average day.
Although, we had speech and debate, and our next project is creating a "talk show". My group includes Darren, Nana, and me (of course).
Nana is the host, Darren is going to be the guest (Ryan Higa :D), and I'm the camera person :P
To be honest with you, I really HATE this project. I haven't even finished writing the script yet (which is a real PAIN, by the way)...and I have to cross my fingers and hope that I can finish it early and email it to Darren and Nana for them to practice their lines.
But right now, I'M just worried about LE BIG DEBATE ON THURSDAY.
1. I don't know who we're going against, Sean and Howard, or Ophelia and Lindsey. If we were going against Sean and Howard, the arguments I wrote down are completely useless =.=
2. Let's say we WERE going against Lindsey and Ophelia. I still have no idea what to add to my part. Maybe there IS nothing to add.
3. We're debating in front of the whole school. Point.
LE BIG DEBATE IS ALMOST HERE.

Art Class
Today we had art class (duh, Alice!).
And we were carving our giant stamps, mine was a moai statue standing in the middle of a sky full of swirls. And fortunately, I did not get cut/stabbed/scraped by the carving knife.
YESSSS.
And we started laughing really hard because we were making this joke (no idea how this started ok?), about suing people.
Lindsey and I started laughing so hard that our stomachs hurt -___-
And the boys looked over as if we were crazy....as if THEIR topics weren't weird enough =.=
ANYWAYS, I really don't know what to write today....well, I have one, but I'm not going to write it on my blog because it's a bit private.
My classmates know what I'm talking about. (A certain someone needs to learn to respect others before he expects respect from them.)
Yeah. You know what I'm talking about.

A Sum-up of my Spring Break
Except for the fact that i was torturing my feet for walking so much -_-
But it was pretty worth it. We went to the Ocean Park, and went sightseeing all around Hong Kong.
And the day RIGHT AFTER I came back from Hong Kong, I went to Leofu Village with 5 other girls from our class.
| One big happy family~ |
Yeah um....you can't see Michelle because she's blocked by Lindsey's eye....
But yeah, it was fun.
Surprisingly, Cici is the most daring one out of all of us =.=
She isn't scared of any of the rides in Leofu, not even the Screaming Eagle O_O
But yeah um...we're an interesting bunch.
And for the rest of my spring break?
| Aw...How cute. |
But I did go to this glass factory, and I made this little....flower vase...thing. I'm a bit too lazy to put a picture of the vase...but it's not that appealing to the eye either =.=
So I guess it's fine...
We're heading back to school tomorrow....shame...spring break should be longer.
OH, by the way, our big debate is on Thursday....ME SHO NERVOUS LA.
Well, got to go practice my violin....bye~

Spring Break
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, because spring break is starting :DDDD
SHO EXCITED.
And on Saturday, my family and I are going to Hong Kong for 3 days :)
I'm excited because Hong Kong stuff is super cheap and usually decent quality.
YEAH.
So for an entire week, I won't be touching my blog.
Just a heads up.
Oh, and today we had debate club, and again, we were preparing for our big debate.
Nervous. Only two more weeks D:
But I mean, I think I did pretty well....I just have to slightly alter my arguments and attacks (a little rusty).
Then it's all good :)
So, I'm off to watching Office Girls.
Bye! :D

DOMINATE CHINA
Today, in history class, Mr. Lex decided that our final project was to play this "board game" based on Risk. Except, we don't take over the world, we take over China.
In old times, China was split into 7 regions. Since we had 14 people in total (counting Mr. Lex), we each were paired up and had to choose a region.
I was paired up with Henry. Which I guess isn't THAT bad.
And we chose the Chu region of China.
And yeah...we're supposed to go home, research about our region, and also come up with a strategy to take over all of China.
So far, I don't see the point in making our strategy NOW....since most people in our class were like "let's be allies! Let's take down the Han region first! And then the yada yada yada..."
By the way, Peter hasn't came to school for three days already.....even though he bought all the textbooks already (they're 6,000NT each O.O)....but if he DOES come back, Kevin would be paired up with him....since Mr. Lex was paired up with Kevin....
So yeah. Wish Henry and I luck to DOMINATE ALL OF CHINA MWAHAHAHAHA.
Yeah, probably shouldn't have eaten that lollipop....SUGAR RUSH

History Hatred
I hate history =.=
There are so many projects and weird assignments...also, history and literature are my weakest subjects...
And right now, I'm in the middle of doing this poster assignment that our teacher assigned to us...
IT. IS. BORING.
Currently, we are learning about Chinese history. NOT FUN.
I know, I know. I'm Taiwanese and I'm supposed to be very knowledgeable of Chinese and Taiwanese history.
BUT, if you have learned Chinese history before...you will know that it is the MOST BORING history period in THE ENTIRE WORLD.
I'm not kidding. Chinese history is really boring....and quite difficult as well....
However, I find Indian history quite interesting (ironic much?)...but I noticed that a lot of my friends agree that Chinese history is really boring....
*Sigh*

Newscast
GOSH. This project is tiring =.=
I finally finished editing the video....
And it's not perfect, but I did the most I can to make it look the best it can....
So....I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that Mr. Joubert wouldn't have me reedit the thing...because I accidentally deleted the imovie video :-/
And now, there's no way to recover it....So if he needs me to edit something, I'll have to make a new one D:
Please please PLEASE let us win this project (you get 150NT if you win a video project in his class)...
By the way, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=R9IWAxSpgKA#t=529s
He is AMAZING. I love the part where he sings "On My Own". It's already really impressive that one person can sing "Who Am I?" and "I Dreamed a Dream" alone. And he could sing Cosette's parts.
O.O
He is freaking talented.

Friday
So, yesterday I refilmed some parts of our newscast project...Because apparently, we forgot to refilm two parts of what I have to say...
I don't have much to say for today, so I'll just tell you what happened on Friday.
So, I went to the dermatologist, and waited there for 2 hours because there was the poor little kid there.
We were no. 46, and the little boy was no. 43. But he was stuck in there for at least an entire HOUR.
He looked about 5 or 6 years old, and he was there because a week ago, he stepped on some glass, and for some reason, they waited until THEN to go to the doctor. So basically the glass is INSIDE his foot, and the doctor needed to search for the glass pieces with a needle to pick them out.
I feel bad for the little kid, because he was screaming and crying for at least 30 minutes, I could tell it was pretty painful. And I think what happened was that the glass pieces have already touched the nerves in his foot, so if you move it just a little bit, it would hurt. They already paralyzed part of his foot, but they can't paralyze his ENTIRE foot, because doing that might paralyze his ENTIRE body :-/
But what I found weird was that, why were they doing this at a dermatologist? They should have went to a surgeon, x-rayed his foot to find where and how many pieces of glass there were, and pick them out. It would have been MUCH faster, and probably less painful.
And also, why did they wait an entire week to come and get them out? I think it was because the little boy didn't dare tell his parents =.=
So yeah. I hope he's better now :-/
Because, I think the patients outside were suffering more than he was =.=

Late Post :P
Yeah, um...I can explain for the late post.
Michelle and I had to refilm our newscast project, which went considerably well, since this is our second time doing it.
Michelle, please remember to send me the videos and powerpoint :)
(Or we'll all be screwed)
Anyways, we ate dinner outside and came home to shower and do my math homework =.=
So...that is the story of why I posted so late at night.
Anyways, today was the poetry contest...which I do not look forward to...but this year it was better, since whoever won would get a free meal at Rick's.
Michelle won for our class :D
Congrats. (Strangely enough, her sister won for her grade too...so I guess they both get free meals :P)
Yeah so...If you're wondering why I didn't get in (frankily, I don't really want to), well, the judges only choose a specific type of poem...they like poems with deep, serious meanings...and with a hint (just a hint) of boringness to it.
Basically, "Dumb Ways to Die" is a good topic if you're planning to not get chosen.

Music Teacher
This. Teacher. Has. PROBLEMS.
First of all, she just wrote 10 Italian terms on the board (and didn't even explain what they meant). And she was like "aren't you going to take notes?"
We're like "Um, we don't have paper.....or a pencil..."
She just stared at us and said "then I guess you all know this."
(2 minutes later)
"LET'S TAKE A TESTTTTTTTT" and erased everything off the board.
We're like "?!"
Ophelia and Lindsey didn't get the test paper, so Ophelia said "But we don't have the test paper..."
She turned around and said "too bad"
Ophelia: "BUT WE DON'T HAVE THE TEST PAPERRRRRR"
She's like "fine." And threw the paper at them.
=.=
Whoever HIRED her is one idiot.
Alan tried to take notes, he took a marker and started writing, but then the teacher was like "NO, don't use a marker to take notes." And she took away the marker. Alan: "...okay then" with this look of "how am I supposed to write then?"
GOSH. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER. She doesn't deserve to be a teacher. Ugh, and we have to write a biography of a composer and give it to her next week. Or we'll be marked as "absent".
She. Has. Officially made my "worst teacher ever" list.

:-/
Yeah, I don't have anything to write for today, so I'm going to continue something from yesterday that I DIDN'T mention in my last post :)
Cool?
Okay, so yesterday in P.E, we played captain ball (don't worry, it's almost over....Wednesday is our final).
For the first drill, we improved quite significantly :)
But for the second drill.....I have to say....1 to 12...not a pretty sight.
So both teams ran suicides. Fair enough. Period.
And then we played our game. For the first quarter, we did quite well. 7 to 1 :D
But then in the second quarter, something went wrong I guess :-/
Because our score dropped WAY too much, so I don't consider this a coincidence. 2 to 6...I think, I'm not sure about the 6, but it's around there.
=.=
We need to be more consistent -.-
Yeah, well. Tomorrow is the finals. Wish both teams luck (no, wish us luck) :)

Newscast =.=
So, you know that we have this project in speech and debate called the newscast project, correct?
We filmed on last Friday....
Well, ironically, Alan's part looked the best. And I basically looked like a ghost because the lighting was strange.
Michelle? Well, we were SUPPOSED to report 7 days worth of weather, but we didn't know, so we only did one day =.=
*Sigh*
So we're going to refilm on Thursday (unfortunately)....Well, Michelle and I at least =.=
Alan's seemed okay, so we didn't really feel like it was THAT necessary.
I have a lot of homework left so....BYE.
Saturday, March 16, 2013
-.-
So....on Friday I went to Michelle's house and met up with her and Alan to film our newscast project. It took A LOT more time than I expected =.=
And part of the reason why we took so long is because we couldn't memorize our script and we also took an hour to set up the whole thing =.=
Also because we kept laughing when we did this *cough*
And yeah...I have a lot of homework left to do =.=
Our teachers suddenly gave quite a bit of homework...ESPECIALLY speech and debate.
The newscast project and also introduce a country project are both from speech and debate.
*Sigh*

Cake :D
Today, in lunch, Connie brought us this cake to celebrate our three people's birthdays :D
It was pretty nice of her :D
And the cake tasted good :P
Alan, Lindsey, and I got the biggest slices, since she bought it for our birthdays....but since Michelle didn't have lunch, Phoebe gave half of her slice to her. (Tomorrow is Alan's birthday, by the way)
And yeah. It tasted like strawberries :D
Yum.
To be honest with you, I was not expecting her to buy us a CAKE. Which, was probably the whole idea =.=
Yum :)

Eh.
Okay, so yesterday, we had Subway for lunch. You kind of got that already right?
And the funny thing is, we had a new student yesterday (his name is Peter, by the way), and he joined in our "Subway posse". Well, I bet that he is wondering why he didn't get Subway today.
And today, we took our yearbook head shots....nothing too special I guess.
And then we headed off to P.E.
Now, we're playing captain ball. And for the first and second drills, we got a tie. The good news is, we improved on the first drill, since it is the first time we EVER got more than 6 points...But the bad news is, we used to always win the second drill...so...getting a tie means that THEIR team is also improving...
But anyways, we won the game. And that's what we consider to be more important...Although, I think part of the reason why the other team lost was because Peter couldn't really get the hang of the tips and tricks of captain ball.
Or maybe he just didn't get the concept...
ANYWAYS, today was fine....ish.
By the way, today is my birthday :D

Birthdays :D
Today for lunch, we ate Subway and drank bubble milk tea :D
Why? We're celebrating three people's birthdays today! My birthday is tomorrow, Alan is 2 days younger than me, and Lindsey is 4 days younger than me :P
Do the math.
So yeah. LOTS of gifts :D
And I like all of them.
I gave Lindsey this purse that's made out of cloth that's covered with apples, and I gave Alan a box of chocolates.
HAR HAR.
I know, it's a little freaky to know how much of a coincidence this is =.=
But anyways, SPRING BABIES WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD.
Yeah. A free brain check will be a good present for me too.

Clay
Today, in art class, we continued to make our shoe clay sculptures.
Mine turned out pretty well, probably because mine's was one of the easiest =.=
But 10 minutes before class ended, I accidentally broke part of Cici's shoe D:
Sorry Cici! But she was able to fit the piece back on within 10 minutes. Phew.
I feel kind of bad for Ophelia. She had to start over, because her project was kind of destroyed. She chose to do a high heel, which is the most challenging out of all of the shoes. And the platform had to be stable, because the thin heel wouldn't be able to support the weight of the platform. And the heel wasn't dry yet, therefore it would break under all that weight. So she used dried up pieces of clay to support the high-heel. Because the heel from that is COMPLETELY dried up, and it fits perfectly. She did quite a lot, considering that she did that in one class.
And after I finished.....I was pretty bored so...yeah...I pretty much did nothing for the rest of the class =.=
Michelle and Cici also finished early (if only I didn't break Cici's shoe =.=) so they kind of "joined" me in the "bored-so-I'm-going-to-cut-this-piece-of-clay-with-a-giant-blade" club :D
